Well, just today there was a cat sitting on my mom's table just watching her bird feeder and waiting for an unsuspecting bird, but no birds would come around with that cat sitting there. Occasionally a bird would land on the feeder, but they would then all of a sudden see the cat and fly away.

Well, mice are controlled around the barn by bringing in some good cats.

You can keep rodents away from your garden by the likeness of an owl.

A fake snake'll deter crows from eating your corn.

God used seagulls to eat pesky locusts; saving the Mormons.

Mosquito fish have been introduced to prey upon larval pests in surface water.
My dog kept away someone who wanted to convert me to their religion once. Does this count?
umm...cats are very often used as 'mousers' to get mice and other rodents under control.

ladybugs (i know isn't an animal) are bought for gardens and fields-they like eating aphids and other bugs.

llamas are often kept with sheep herds because, for whatever reason, wolves wont go near them and they are just as easy to care for as the sheep themselves.

i dunno any others. perhaps other YA ppl will give other ideas. there's mine for ya ;)
Terrier dogs were bred to hunt rats.

controle organism : encarsia formosa(wasp)

how it works : wasp larvae feed on whitefly larvae

comments : only works well in glasshouse, not outside.

# problem(pest) : aphids feeding on cereal crops

controle organism : hoverflies

how it works : hoverfly larvae feed on aphids

comments : adult hoverflies feed on pollen and nectar, so allowing wild flowers to grow along the field can increse the hoverfly population

--------------------------------------鈥?br>

#problem(pest) : house mice

controle organism : parasite worm

how it works : the worm infects the mice and reduces the fertility of the females

comments : this controle method is still being tested berofe it is widly used

--------------------------------------鈥?br>

#problem(pest) : screw worm( larvae of flies, which eat the flesh of living animals)

controle organism : sterilised male flies

how it works : the sterile male mate with female flies, so the eggs do not hatch

comments : the screw worms originally came from mexico, and this is where the sterile male flies are being produced

--------------------------------------鈥?br>

#problem(pest) : flies( spred a disease calle driver blindness in west africa)

controle organism : a bacterium, bacillus thuringiensis

how it works : bacterium infects and kills the flies which spred the disease

comments : diffrent strains of this bacterium can be used against many insect pests
