Did you see this latest example of the success of socialist price controls?

So, leftys, do you still think your totalitarian economic schemes have no consequences?

';As a rule, the calls within a mixed economy for more controls are originated not by the people (who are busy earning a living), but by two groups of intellectuals. In America, these groups are referred to as the ';liberals'; and the ';conservatives'; (the term ';liberal,'; it seems, is now being replaced by ';moderate';). Both groups are opposed to capitalism; both endorse Bismarck's welfare state, i.e., a highly controlled stage of the mixed economy; both reject ';extremes'; of any kind, including the principle of individual rights. Their disagreement pertains to a single question: what kind of rights should the government violate next?';Did you see this latest example of the success of socialist price controls?
And Hillary wants to have more government control of big businesses!
So true.

These same socialists/communists wear clothing, eat food, and watch t.v. that is made cost effective under capitalism.

Typical hypocrisy.
Zimbabwe has a free market economy with an inflation rate of 5000%, but you're right. The govt. should do nothing about it. Historically, only western govts. ';interfere'; with their economies. Third world govts. rarely do. That's why they're Third World countries.
Your comparing Zimbabwe to the United States? How about a reasonable comparison - I would be more appropriate to compare Canada or France - but Zimbabwe?
Why would anyone except citizens of Zimbabwe care about the imposition of price controls in Zimbabwe?
sorry no open leftist emails.
';seize and nationalis[sic}e firms found to be profiteering';

Isn't that the libs plans for the oil companies?
