But some examples would be the march martin luther king did, or Malcom X's protest, the way that the black children went into all white schools even though they would be very deeply segregated against and prosteted by whites they still felt the need to go there to make equal rights. and in more recent issues Barrack Obama is an excellent example.Give examples that demonstrate the desire of African Americans to establish independence and gain control?
If they are Americans what are the gaining independance from? America?





Control of what? The US is a Democracy, the whole idea is that no one group has control.
