What are other examples of open and closed loop control systems?

Other than the light bulb as an open loop control system and the aircon as a closed loop control system, what are other examples of both? Can you name 4 for each? And can you construct a block diagram for each? simple block diagram may apply. much thanks in advance!!!What are other examples of open and closed loop control systems?
It has been a long time since I used terms like Open and Closed loop. I think Open mean no feedback and closed means feedback? Right

if so, here goes a couple. Closed

1. A motor starter circuit, where you start the motor and the feed back is the aux run contact off the starter.

2. A manual or automatic solenoid water valve with Open and Close contacts showing the status of the valve.

3. A material moving conveyor with a motion pulse feedback that shows when the conveyor is actually moving, this would be used in with item#1 a motor starter circuit. The motor may be on and running but the conveyor not moving.

4. Water pump to move water to a water system, with pressure feed back and a Variable freq drive to control the motor.

These are all example of closed feedback systems. If you need a block diagram, that cost extra. What are other examples of open and closed loop control systems?
This place isn't much for diagrams.

Open - stove top cooking, gas torch, lawn mower, car driving, driveway washing with hose, timed use of microwave

Closed - modern thermostat controlling progressively the temp and humidity (or is that what you mean by ';aircon';, oven, microwave with temp probe, freezer or refrigerator, cruise control on car (sensor counts rpms),
